These contacts are compatible with all SOURIAU standard 38999 shells, plating, and inserts with #8 cavities, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. These contacts are incredibly versatile, offering the same cavity for coax, concentric twinax, power, and ELIO® fiber optic contacts, making them ideal for a wide range of applications. Additionally, their Quadrax contact is available in 100 and 150 ohms, making them perfect for both grounded and non-grounded systems. Eaton Souriau Twinax and Quadrax contacts can be mixed in the same layout, offering even more flexibility in designing your system. The Twinax contacts come with a crimp version, while our Quadrax contacts come in both crimp and PC tail versions, allowing you to choose the option that best fits your needs. Standard #8 cavity insertion and removal tools are included, making installation a breeze. The ground connection of the cable braid to the shell is possible through the external shell of the #8 contact, ensuring a secure and reliable connection. Additionally, the contacts are compatible with star quad cable and have a characteristic impedance of 100 ohms.
