Eaton Souriau RC / RM #16 (1.6mm) screw machined contacts are designed for harsh environment industrial connectors. These contacts are suitable for a variety of connector series and give users flexibility when switching between them, without the need for additional crimping tools or investment. Made from a high conductive copper alloy, these contacts are available in gold, gold flash, and tin over nickel plating options to accommodate various electrical performance needs. Heat-treated beryllium copper locking springs ensure proper locking and alignment of contacts in the housing.
These contacts are suitable for copper cores ranging from AWG30 (0.05mm²) to AWG14 (2.5mm²). They also offer coax options with RMDX and RCDX suitable for 50 or 75Ω, coaxial or twisted pair cable. RC / RM #16 (1.6mm) screw machined contacts come in different packaging options, including bulk packages of 50 or 1000 pieces or a reel of 2000 pieces for automatic crimping. These contacts offer a high level of performance over time and are suitable for a range of industrial applications.
SC / SM #16 (1.6mm) stamped and formed contacts are designed as two-piece strip and formed crimp snap-in pin and sockets for industrial connectors. These contacts are suitable for various connector series and provide users with flexibility when switching between them, without the need for additional crimping tools or investment. Made of high conductive copper alloy, these contacts are available in a wide range of plating options, including gold, gold flash, tin over nickel plating, and selective plating options. The stainless steel retaining spring features retention in the housing cavity and a closed entry socket to prevent probe damage. These contacts consist of a crimp body and are available on strip and packaged with 3000 pieces per reel, making it ideal for semi or full-automatic crimp tooling to lower production costs. For lower volumes, there is also a loose piece packaging option suitable for manual crimping.
Suitable for UTS, UT0, UTG, UTL, UTP, SMS, MBG connector series with #16 cavities, SC / SM #16 (1.6mm) stamped and formed contacts offer high flexibility and excellent performance for industrial applications.
